UNCLE ERNIE’S BEACH BAR
Uncle Ernie’s Shoal Bay Beach Bar is one of the best known eateries in Anguilla. It is proudly situated at the end of the main road to Shoal Bay East Beach; One of the most beautiful stretches of sand in the Caribbean and the most popular in Anguilla.
The bar was opened in 1984 by the late Ernest Benjamin Harrigan affectionately known to most everyone on the island as ‘Uncle Ernie’. It remains a family affair owned now by his daughters Eileen and Icilma and his nephew Franklin.
Its an unpretentious bar, relaxed and informal and boasts bargain prices that ensure value for money without compromising on quality.
